Limerick is delighted mark the '2027 Ryder Cup Year To Go Celebration'

Limerick is a city with plenty of character, creativity and a strong sense of itself. From music, street art and fashion to festivals, live gigs and a buzzing arts scene, there’s always something happening.

It’s the city of The Cranberries, home to King John’s Castle, the Milk Market and the River Shannon, with a rich history and plenty of stories around every corner. And of course, there’s no shortage of music, theatre and live entertainment, with Lime Tree Theatre and Belltable playing a big part in the city’s cultural scene.

Beyond the city, County Limerick stretches from the Shannon Estuary to the Wild Atlantic Way, with beautiful villages, countryside and plenty more to explore. And with Adare set to welcome the Ryder Cup in 2027, there’s even more excitement on the horizon.

Limerick is lively, welcoming, straight-talking and always ready for a bit of banter. It’s a place where creativity feels right at home and where there’s always something new to discover.

Limerick is lived, not performed. 💚
