national and international acts to the stage, such as Tim O'Brien & The Crossing, Arty McGlynn, The Woods Brothers, Lisa Hannigan, The Lost Brothers, Liam Ó Maonlaí and Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Declan O'Rourke, Fionn Regan, Gemma Hayes, Luka Bloom, Hat Fitz & Cara Robinson, The Walls, Declan Sinnott, Ben Caplan, Hermitage Green to name but a few. The surfing revolution has brought many a new face to Lahinch and surfers are the latest tribe of customers to Kenny's Bar. Kenny's hosts The Annual Lahinch Open Surf Competition which was first presented on Dough Mor Beach in 1969. Since then, Lahinch has truly become the surfing capital of the Irish West Coast and this combined with our long golfing tradition, make Lahinch a must see destination on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. We are currently looking for artists, bands and musicians to perform at Kenny's Bar and The White Horse Sessions. Sometimes in life, you meet truly remarkable people. Luciano Macario was one of those rare souls.

From the very first moment we met, I knew he was someone special—someone who would become a dear friend, impossible not to love. A mischief-maker, a rogue, a charmer, a storyteller, a musician, a listener—and above all, a devoted family man.

Luciano had a way of inspiring everyone around him. His passion for music and history—both his own and everyone else’s—was endless. Always searching, always curious, gathering little nuggets of stories for his ever-active mind.

He never stopped moving—like a hyperactive schoolboy—bouncing to whatever was playing: The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, filling his beloved little bar with life and rhythm.

It’s hard to imagine the world without him in it, but we are all better for having known him, for the joy he brought, and for the way he lifted our hearts just by being himself.

My deepest condolences to Gracia, his beloved other half, Elisa, Georgia, and all the family. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

He was truly one of a kind, and he’ll be missed more than words can say.
