🎵 What We Carry 🎵
Our programme for June takes us on a journey into the heart of musical inheritance uncovering how the sounds of our early years can shape a composer’s voice and how artistic wisdom flows across generations.

At the core of the programme is Ronan Guilfoyle’s new clarinet quintet,' Legacy', performed by guest clarinettist Matthew Berrill and our beloved ConTempo Quartet. This deeply personal work reflects on the profound influence of Guilfoyle’s father, blending classical and jazz sounds into a breathtaking five-movement soundscape. Paired with Ravel’s iconic string quartet, What We Carry is a tribute to the music that shapes us.
