Many thanks to John Tierney for eventually agreeing to donate his beautiful Les Paul to our wall. John was understandably very reluctant to part with this guitar, as it's of enormous sentimental value to him. We have it on good authority that Jimmy Page's fourth cousin's friend 'Brian' allegedly used this axe on an unfinished demo tape from 1978. Unfortunately Brian died mysteriously of an unknown illness, and was buried in secret at an undisclosed location......... But we're very proud to honor Brian's memory by hanging this guitar which may or may not have been his on our wall. Thanks again John👍🏻

Freddie Mercury

Yesterday would have been Freddie Mercury's 80th birthday were he still with us. An awesome talent, and a major hero of mine. Arguably the greatest frontman in the history of popular music. Freddie could do it all from Opera to Hard Rock, and everything in between. A vocalist without equal, and a showman above and beyond all others. Himself and his fellow Queen bandmates created a body of work that will stand for ALL time. We'll not see their likes again.

It's hard to believe where the nearly 35 years since his death have gone. Those years have absolutely vanished!!!

Elvis has left the building.....

And WHAT A SHOW he treated us to before he left!!! Ciaran Houlihan is undoubtedly the very best Elvis Tribute in this country...... And one of the best in the world for that matter!!!

Over two hours of highlights from the extensive catalog of "The King of Rock & Roll". Ciaran really does give it his all...... He sings the part, looks the part.... And moves the part. Top class........ Hopefully we'll see him again in the not too distant future.

Don Stiffe, Ger O Donnell OR Trevor Sexton are more than capable of enthralling audiences on their own. Together as a trio they are MESMERIC.

What a show they gave us last evening!!!! Three incredible performers. All slightly different in their own styles, but combining seamlessly to produce an amazing sound.

SERIOUS musicians and singers who can take their place on ANY stage in the world...... But who also like to have fun, and connect with the audience through the best of good humour..... (well..... apart from Don Stiffe making people cry their eyes out on multiple occasions!!!😭)

A fantastic gig for sure...... Hopefully it won't be too long before we see these three great men again 🤞🤞🤞

Many thanks to ALL who turned out last night to support live music. We had people from all over the map..... Mayo, Kerry, Louth, Clare, Dublin, Limerick, Carlow, Cavan, Waterford, Tipperary, Monaghan, Galway.. AUSTRALIA!!!!.. There were even people here from Kilkenny!!!😂😂

Just a reminder once again to all attendees that from now on, Monday to Saturday shows have a door opening time of 7pm with a show start time of 8pm.

Sunday shows remain unchanged with a doors open time of 6pm and a showtime of 7pm.

Reviews like this make all the hard work worthwhile. All the moreso when the words are coming from a man who's been there, done that, and has bought many, many T-shirts!!!
