There have been quite a few questions over the past few days about Jacks, so we felt it was important to give you an update directly.
Jacks Coastguard Restaurant has been placed on the market as we explore the possibilities for the future of the business.
For more than twenty years, Jacks has been part of life here in Cromane, and so many of you have made it part of your lives too. We have welcomed families through the doors for weddings, birthdays, Christmas nights, celebrations, get togethers and, sometimes, the more difficult occasions when people simply needed to be together.
That has always meant a great deal to us.
Jack’s would never have become what it is without the people around it, our wonderful team, our loyal customers, those who return to us year after year and particularly, the local community who have supported us from the very beginning.
And we believe there is still so much more that Jacks can become.
With planning permission in place for 28 bedrooms and a new function room, there is a real opportunity to take Jacks to another level. We are exploring how best to make that happen, whether through new investment or a change of ownership. Both possibilities are very much open.
In the meantime, Jacks remains very much Jacks. We are open, our team is here, bookings continue as normal and there is plenty to look forward to.
We wanted to share this directly with the people who have supported Jacks for so long and who care about what happens here.
