Dotted around O’Donoghue Public House, you’ll find a wonderful collection of colourful paintings by the late Ted Jones, each one bringing a little burst of personality to the pub.

A lively pub scene might make you smile at first glance, but look a little closer and you’ll discover the expressions, characters and little details that bring each painting to life.

Ted’s connection with Killarney and Kerry makes his work especially meaningful to us here at OD’s. He lived in the area for many years, became a much-loved local character, and drew endless inspiration from the people, places and landscapes around him.

So, next time you’re in, take a moment to look around and enjoy Ted’s work.
