As night falls, the barā€™s secret Wh***ey Parlour will awaken with tales of restless spirits, as one of Irelandā€™s finest seanchaĆ­, Ray Oā€™Sullivan, guides guests into the shadows, bringing Irelandā€™s folklore and legends to life.

This immersive evening brings ancient Irish traditions, captivating stories and expertly crafted cocktails together for a spellbinding celebration of Samhain.

Guests will be taken on a journey through Irelandā€™s mythical past, with each cocktail inspired by legendary characters, haunting tales and the flavours of the season.

Irish wh***ey was once one of the worldā€™s most popular spirits, with more than 30 distilleries operating in Ireland in the late 19th century. By the 1960s, the industry had fallen to just a handful.

Thousands of stories, barrels and old distilleries have disappeared over the years, leaving behind little more than names, buildings and memories. Thankfully, Irish wh***ey has enjoyed a remarkable revival in recent decades.

News incomingā€¦ and this time, itā€™s the Greeks that are in town.

Nikos and Alex from The Bar in Front of The Bar in Athens are heading to Killarney, bringing Greek cocktail energy to Pigā€™s Lane on Wednesday, 23rd September.

Ranked No. 2 in Europeā€™s 50 Best Bars and No. 47 in The Worldā€™s 50 Best Bars, the duo will team up with the Pigā€™s Lane mixology masters for an evening of inventive cocktails and flavours.

Expect advanced techniques including carbonation and sous vide, creating naturally infused, fruit-forward flavours and adding a fine-textured fizz for extra depth and complexity.

The cocktails on the night will be built around Hennessy, in collaboration with the .ed advocacy team.

And if you want a taste of whatā€™s to come, The Bar in Front of The Barā€™s signature C.R.E.A.M. serve brings together an icy blend of Rocks & Grapes and Greek herbs, topped with a warm white chocolate and coconut float and finished with a swig of Hennessy for an extra kick. A striking hot-and-cold contrast where sour meets sweet and crisp meets creamy.

See you then ā€” 7PM at Pigā€™s Lane.

No reservations required. Numbers will be limited on the evening, with entry operating on a first come, first served basis.
