We need your help! We got some cancellations with the terrible weather for to night Evening Event & if we don’t find more tables we might have to cancel 🙀 so if you are looking for a table to night call ma on the 0834178968 & if not please share this post to help a small family restaurant for an Event !

A little explanation will follow

This Event “Beer & Butter”
Le Bar à Vin is becoming Le bar à Bière for one night only. The theme is Buttery, Cheerful dish & Local Craft Beer Pairing !

Featuring Ton Crean Brewery. This event will be like none of the previous one.

A five course set menu create for the occasion by head Chef Jade will be served. But pair only by Beers! Discover a local brewery and another way to drink & eat well !

We are closing the restaurant on the 30th of September !

We are sorry to announce that we are closing down…
The team will take a well deserved rested after an amazing summer & for Jade & I we are waiting to get our familie bigger. Our life will change & our priority also.

You still have until the End of September to book for a table and one last Event on the 27th of September “Beer & Butter”

We will still plan to do what we are passionate about : Good food, seasonal & original for Jade & for me discover & share good wines, from all over the World.

The Kenmare restaurant will be closed. but le bar a vin is more than a restaurant it’s a common passion for good drinks, & good company… We might open something else or/& somewhere else later.. When the time will come or the occasion…

We will keep the passion burning because Le Bar à Vin is Us but is also You, Me, We. And we will keep you updated of our many adventures, of our plans and dreams. On the newsletters & social media! For the wine recommendations I will take an unusual pairing with a white wine dry. Or should I say Green Wine ?

Last wine of the Evening and the most notorious ! St Julien 2012
Grand Cru Classer in 1855
Complex and delicate wine with ripe cherries fruit, spices, fresh hazelnut, almond & tabaco note delicate and smooth tanin. The wine is vibrant and harmonious with a really long length.
It was pair with homemade nuts & chicken raviole with a comté creamy sauce an unusual pairing.
the age of the wine got it softer and more elegant with more nutty flavour. It could of course ages more
