Coming to Gorey, Wexford .. TICKETS NOW ON SALE | Get ready for a huge night of laughs as Gorey’s Yellow Belly Comedy Festival takes over Browne’s The 45 on Friday 25th September, with a brilliant line-up of Irish comedy talent.

Headlining the night is Brian Gallagher, one of the most exciting acts on the Irish stand-up circuit.

Joining Brian is rising star Breda Hegarty, winner of Best New Act at Bray Comedy Festival 2025 and Best Comedian at the DICFF Stand-Up Competition

Also on the bill is the brilliantly sharp Aideen McQueen. A regular on RTÉ, TG4 and BBC Northern Ireland, with writing credits for BBC Radio 4

Keeping everything under control - or at least attempting to - is your host Adam Burke. The Bray comedian is the man behind the long-running Hardy Har Comedy Club and a co-founder of the Bray Comedy Festival.

The Gorey Wh***ey Festival is organised by the Gorey Wh***ey Club, which has been hosting wh***ey tastings since 2020. The inaugural festival will take place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026, with events hosted across a number of venues throughout Gorey town.

The festival kicks off on Friday evening at 7pm, with JJ Corry joining guests at the AmberSpringsHotel for a special dinner and wh***ey experience.

On Saturday afternoon at 2pm, guests can choose from four events taking place across Gorey. Browne’s Lounge will host a cocktails and snacks event, while Killowen Distillery and Bonders will present a tasting at the Amber Springs Hotel. Powerscourt Distillery will be at Katie Daly’s Bar, with Boann Distillery presenting at Paddy Blues Pub.

At 4.30pm, the programme continues with Two Stacks Bonders at the Amber Springs Hotel, Teelings at Katie Daly’s Bar and Echlinville Distillery at Paddy Blues Pub.

The festival comes at an exciting time for the Irish wh***ey industry, and while every effort will be made to deliver the programme as outlined, events and participating distilleries may be subject to change.
