As we close the doors on Fitzgibbons bar we just wanted to say a special "Thank you" to the people of Glanworth and further afield for all of your support through the years.
Jim took over the pub 50 years ago and Eily has been serving pints for 45 of those years, this would not of been possible without all of your support and kindness at the various times over the past 50 years. We are not going to mention any names as there would be too many...and you have all been important in your own special way, for which we as a family will be forever thankful.
We have fabulous memories of all the characters that we have met over the years, there has been sing songs, laughter, tears and lots and lots of fun. Thanks to everyone who was part of those memorable and happy times.
Fitzgibbons bar has been our life, but now it's time for the next chapter, one which we look forward to embracing.... Fond regards, Eileen, Colin, Elaine, Fergal, Frances and Thomas x
