Padraig's Place

Padraig's Place Padraig's Place Bar is named for the Irish language short story teller Padraig O'Conaire (Patrick Conroy, in English).

He was born in the top back room of 2 New Dock Road. His father, Tomas O'Conaire (Thomas Conroy in English) rented the building while acting as an agent for the Allen Line shipping company in its transportation of emigrants to the new world.

Our supper nights are back!
Every Tuesday we will be cooking a special for the downstairs bar, for €10. will also have glasses of wine for €5 to go with it.
