It is with deep regret that we announce we will be closing Caribou on Saturday 13th of January. Whilst there will be a lot of sadness when we close our doors in Woodquay for the final time, we leave happy in the thought that we are ending on a high and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
When we opened Caribou just over 7 years ago, we never could have imagined the great friendships, loyal custom and incredible opportunities that would come our way in the years that followed. The people of Galway and our neighbours in Woodquay in particular, welcomed us with open arms and for that we will be forever grateful.
Undoubtedly, the hardest part of this process has been telling our incredible team. We’ve been blessed to work with some truly amazing people over the last seven years and without them, our success would not have been possible. To our current team - their love for Caribou, its customers and each other is palpable, and they should all be incredibly proud of themselves for driving Caribou in such a positive direction right until the very end.
Now we face the next challenge, saying goodbye to all of you 💔 Come say hello/goodbye, bring stories and memories and let’s share them over one final pint (or two) x
