At the Galway school of boat building Jim and son Conall continue the Horgan family tradition of boat building that goes back to the 1950's in Youghal. We continue that tradition in Galway today, working on a project-by-project basis. Over 200 traditional wooden boats have been built in that time, ranging from 24' Galway Hookers (''An Muirin''), Scandinavian/Irish Yawls, sailing currachs, beach boats and tenders, and the restoration of many old hookers including the 42' ''Clíona na Toinne''
