It has been a difficult but necessary decision Eileen has decided to close the doors.

The Magpies Bar will be closing on Saturday 4th December 2021.

Over the past 22 years, we have had some crazy times, with plenty of singing, dancing and laughing along the way and even a few tears ! There was even a few winners too🐴not many but a few 😂

With a special thanks to our loyal customers who have grown to be amazing friends, unfortunately some have passed on but whom will all be forever in our hearts.

Thanks again for the continuous support, and we hope to say goodbye in person before the final pint is served on Saturday 4th December

Its been a tough year for us all, but 2021 promises to be a better year. 2020 taught us many things, that family and friends mean more than any trivial things, that our health really is our wealth, and absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
Our hearts miss each and everyone of you so greatly, but we look forward to our reunion next year.
So tonight when the clock strikes 12 remember to, love one another and to look forward to better times, because they are just around the corner.
To when the Guinness will be flowing and the craic will be mighty once again.

Magpie Bar is closed 5 months today.Over 3500 other pubs throughout the country remain closed & it doesn't look like we will re-open anytime soon. Along with the VFI & LVA we are calling on government to provide meaningful support packages for the industry
