We are happy to announce that we are re opening this evening at 6.00pm for drinks only. We are looking forward to seeing you all back. Please be aware indoor service is only for vaccinated or recovered customers per government regulations.

We were truly devastated to hear of Mairead Corrigan‘s sudden passing. Mairead or Mozzie as we all knew her was an essential part of the team here in Kilgowan. She was with us right up until the awful virus forced us to close in March. We watched Mozzie grow from a shy young girl into a beautiful confident woman. She was hard working honest but most of all she cared about everyone staff and customers. She was a breath of fresh air. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Mairead’s family on their terrible loss. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that we will not be re-opening the restaurant. Due to the current restrictions it will not be viable. We are hoping to open the bar only as soon as restrictions allow. We would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all our staff and our customers. We hope to see you all for a social distanced drink in the near future. Michael and Teresa.

In accordance with FSAI guidelines we will continue our good practice of food hygiene. All appropriate measures are being followed. All areas and equipment are sanitised regularly.
