We are delighted to introduce our next Gaelic Games Community Abseil participant 📣

Representing, Old Parish GAA Club – Eamon Power 🧡

“Hello, my name is Eamon Power, and my club is Old Parish where I was a player for many years and now, I am a supporter of. Our daughter Caoimhe now plays underage football with them and Camogie with An Rinn. When I heard about Waterford Gaa getting behind the abseil for Solas I knew this was a challenge for me as I know firsthand the great work they do in supporting people affected by cancer and their families as my wife Helen passed away on May 31st last year with cancer and it was always her wish that we do fund raising for them to continue their services as Helen used some of them. I like so many here have never done an abseil and I know we will be nervous beforehand but also know our loved ones will be with us on March 27th. Thanks to Brian and Brendan for been talked into joining me and we would be grateful if you could donate to our idonate page Old Parish GAA. Best of luck to everyone taking part and see ye in Croker!!”.

What an honor it was for us to celebrate the huge success of local hero Tomas Kiely - drifting champion- at The Marine last night. Wishing him every success in the future.
