“Legends never die.” 🤍

For Dundalk, Barry Kehoe was an icon, one of the finest midfielders to ever grace the League of Ireland, and a true legend of Dundalk FC whose face now proudly lives on the new Centenary jersey and mural up at Oriel Park.

But for us at The Rum House, he was family. As the co-founder of Ridleys and husband to our own Adrienne, Barry’s spirit is woven into the very bricks of our place. It’s why football and The Rum House will always have that special connection.

Seeing his face on the jersey and up on the wall reminds us just how much he meant and will always mean to this town.

💙 We are so proud to have hosted the Dundalk
Lions Club Coffee Morning Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Ireland once again at The Rum House.

Last year was amazing, but you blew us away this time-with over 320 people showing up, the community support was genuinely overwhelming.

Because of your incredible generosity, we helped raise an incredible amount for a truly vital cause.

A massive thank you to everyone who packed the house and donated, and a special shout-out to the Dundalk Lions Club for everything they do. Moments like these remind us why we love being part of Dundalk.

✨ A full decade ago, we opened our doors on Park Street with a simple goal, to bring world-class food and an unmatched atmosphere to the heart of Dundalk.

Today, we’re looking back on ten years of incredible memories, from first dates and family celebrations to late-nights in the Cuban Quarter. To our amazing staff (past and present) and our loyal customers who have made this journey possible, thank you.
