This popular local pub which has been a cornerstone of the Churchtown area for generations and is now set to be revived and revamped into a food and drink emporium that young and old can enjoy. While its name hails from the local landmark built in 1742, the bottle tower pub was established much later in 1962 by the Finnegan family. It served the community well for decades however in recent years h
as been seen as needing some TLC. The pub stands proudly on the corner of Churchtown road and Beaumont Ave and is often used as a point of reference for those passing through the Southside of the city. While the former bottle tower pub provided punters with their firm favourites on tap – the new revival will see the beer selection having a lot more to offer those with a “crafty” palette!! Good food and a good atmosphere will be the focus ensuring there is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.
