The Legal Eagle sits in the shadow of our glorious river and the formidable and iconic Four Courts. When we took it over, we inherited some of the glorious features, and the building really spoke to us of old-fashioned pub-grub.

We look to the old traditions of pickles, roasts, meaty joints & braises but we choose also to honour our own traditional lexicon of local, Irish producers where possible, as well as offering our guests to enjoy a lighter style of dining.

We are crazy about beer, whiskey and gin but wine is where we started and it remains a driving force for us. We have a stellar cocktail and wine list written with precision and love”

We have an ever so slightly more formal dining room upstairs, which is also great for events, weddings, private parties and get-togethers.
