The Whiskey Trail runs with a min of 4 people & you can join another group which is all part of the fun. On The Whiskey Trail you will experience excellent Irish Whiskey in the most famous pubs in the world. There is nothing better than an Irish pub, a perfect place to relax, unwind and experience Irish whiskey. This is the fastest growing spirit in the world, welcome to the revolution. We select our bars so you an authentic Irish experience and a the famous Irish welcome.

The Túath (tu–ah) takes its name from the old Irish word for “family” or “nation,” and it really lives up to that idea - a glass designed to bring people a little closer to what’s in their whiskey.

It was created by female Irish designer , who set out to rethink how we actually smell, taste and experience whiskey, not just how we drink it.

The conical shape helps pull aromas together, softens the alcohol “burn” on the nose, and lets the whiskey open up in a way that feels more expressive and generous in the glass.

We love using the Túath glass on our whiskey trails! You can also pick up the Túath glasses in our shop if you want to try it for yourself. 🥃

Another brilliant evening on the trail last night at JT Pim’s with the team from 🥃

The standout for us? The incredibly interesting 13 Year Old Peat Cask Finish — smoky, layered and full of character. The Bourbon & Oloroso finish was absolutely yum too, rich with sweetness and spice in all the right places.

And getting to sample the new make spirit at a punchy 62% was a real treat — always fascinating to get a glimpse of what’s to come from a distillery with so much potential.

We’re also hoping to see their Single Grain make an appearance on our tour very soon 👀

It’s Whiskey Wednesday so that means getting into the back of the whiskey press and digging out bottles I have forgotten all about. Look at this for a treat, double distilled Irish single malt from the foothills of Errigal mountain, Co. Donegal. This was one of my favourite distillery tours of last year, if you are interested in visiting get in touch as we are offer amazing ways to get there ie flying to the Northwest and landing on one of the most scenic runways in the world!

We paired Guinness marbled cheddar with Green Spot on last nights Whiskey Trail and it went down an absolute treat! Ohhhhhh and ahhhhh’s were ringing out all@over the place 🤤😋🥃🧀
