Sitting Room Sessions Events on every two weeks where wonderfully talented artists get to play on our lovely couch in front of lovely people. Free tea/coffee & snacks also!

The Sitting Room Sessions is a songwriters night in the Clockwork Door, just next to the Ha'penny bridge. Every second Sunday we host songwriters in a very intimate room, performing their songs like they may have done when they started, on a couch! We plan to guide new songwriters into the world of performing and bring more experienced performers back to the raw acoustic sound they started with. A

ll of this in front of an audience that will listen intently. You see the Clockwork Door is a non-alcoholic venue and the initial purpose of this event was to celebrate the separation of art and alcohol. A bonus of this is that people actually listen! The Clockwork Door splits its takings on the night with the artists who play, so when you come to visit you will be supporting in spirit, and financially! There is no door charge. You pay for the time you spend. At 8c a minute it'll cost you 4.80 an hour... with all of the free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, AND popcorn you like! The room is set up from 7pm, with music starting at 7.30, all ending at 10pm. So you'll be able to catch that last bus home! You can find us at:
