Today marks a massive milestone for the Dublin pub trade.

After 40 incredible years, Oliver and Paul Cosgrave have announced their well earned retirement. Over the past four decades, they have set a tremendous standard across Dublin, looking after some of the finest public houses in the city, culminating in The Druid’s Chair in Killiney and the historic McDaid’s on Harry Street.

To take over the mantle and become the new custodians of both McDaid’s and The Druid’s Chair is a huge privilege for us. Both establishments hold a truly special place in the fabric of Dublin’s heritage, and our sole focus is to protect their character and their history for decades to come.

To Oliver and Paul: thank you for your friendship, your professionalism, and your dedication to the trade over the last 40 years. We wish you both the very best of health, happiness, and success in this next chapter of life and retirement.
