One for the techno heads next Saturday as Tengu invites musical hero Tasha (Neighbourhood) to the booth for a rather large one before the Christmas holidays!👺

Tasha first made her name as a DJ in the drum & bass community, with early support from DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra. After DJ Storm made her resident at her Feline night, she became a firm part of the community, going onto play regularly at Renegade Hardware and across Europe.

A dedicated head to the core, her exploratory experiences raving at London’s techno nights, being behind the counter, selling records at BM Soho and listening to more techno started to make their way into her sets and radio shows when she started out with her residency on Rinse FM in 2009. Since 2018, Tasha remains a member of the iconic stations core lineup to this day.

Dylan Fogarty is a Dublin based artist who has been going from strength to strength. His stripped back, loop driven techno which is influenced and reminiscent of the old school sound of the 90’s and 00’s with releases on a number of VA compilations and labels such as the Canadian based PHTM, Molekul, RAW and Frenzy to name a few. Although the young artist is only just beginning his musical journey, he’s already got a wealth of support and releases under his belt.

Club Puzzy is back and ready to jingle them bellz! PWHQ is delighted to invite UK-based Yemz for our next party, supported by the stellar JWY and DIEBYVEG, as well as a Puzzy-Power-(Half)-Hour.

Whether it’s waistline warpers, baile krud, or anything in between, Yemz has been tearing up dance floors and festivals with a whirlwind of genres doused in steeze. She’s just getting started, with her debut production already setting flames, and much more in the pipeline. The energy is wild when Yemz is in the cut, blending percussive sounds from her Nigerian heritage with the multicultural influences of UK bass.

On support, we’re excited to present JWY, a legendary floor-filler, saint of the Dublin nightlife scene, and the people’s princess. Minister for cop-on and icon of the girly-gay garage community, DIEBYVEG, will also be hittin’ da boof after a club season full of autumn heat.

Olander was born in Fairfax, VA in America to a Swedish father and an Indian mother, Jeremy was brought up in Stockholm and become exposed to the city’s small but passionate electronic scene in his early teens. With role models in the likes of Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch and Joel Mull leading the charge, Jeremy found sources of inspiration at defunct legendary club Grodan Cocktail Club among Stockholm techno royalty, as well with Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Berry Gordy, Shigeru Miyamoto and east coast hip-hop.

Ste Flynn, resident DJ at Melodic Dublin supports the night! With rich melodies his music is influenced by a variety of artists ranging from Aphex Twin to Boards of Canada to Guy J. As a hardware enthusiast, he likes to experiment with machines by producing different genres, from crafting Hip Hop samples to 909/303 Detroit sequencing to Progressive House chords & melodies.

Ste has released music on labels such as Balkan Connection, IN2U and RF Trax with support from artists including Nick Warren, Antrim and more.

Fliss Mayo has quickly risen in esteem regularly sharing line ups with Overmono, Bakey, Conducta and many more of the tastemakers of UK Bass. As half of Dual Monitor, Fliss has produced some of the most scintillatingly wobbly sounds we’ve heard in years and we cannot wait to experience her unique taste on a powerful soundsystem.

Moving Still is an Arab-Irish DJ and producer whose tracks have set the electronic music scene ablaze. His eclectic and groundbreaking sound has stormed the festival circuit, topping Rush Hour charts and securing coveted spots on Spotify editorial playlists like Altar and Future Pioneer. Raised in Dublin and based in Holland, Ngoni Egan is a machine-wares producing DJ whose sound is up there with the very best of modern day standards. Having transplanted to Rotterdam after running the gamut of Ireland’s club-scape - frequenting Irish venues like The Bernard Shaw, Yamamori Tengu, Wigwam and Index - his DJ-and-live sets have seen him line up internationally alongside DJ Hell Helena Hauff, Privacy and DJ Stingray to landing bookings inside Glitch, Orbit, DGTL and Dekmantel Selectors festivals.

Ngoni’s sound is full of pace, bombastic and in-line with a historical Detroit lineage.

Tasha’s DJing style matches the textured background of her influences and has developed into a master-flow of form – weaving tunes together seamlessly from her bass-informed home of the UK, alongside 4×4 techno forms, broken beat, or straight up D&B rollers. It should be noted that Tasha is pretty much one of the only DJ’s who has built their career separately in both drum & bass and techno, she cannot be pigeonholed into genre conformities.

Whether it’s a peak time or closing slot at Berghain, a Jungle masterclass at Rupture, or a mixed bag b2b with Josh Caffé at the helm of FOLD – Tasha has all bases covered.

With a smattering of music to be found across a clutch of Irish labels, it’s his ‘Re Teng’ opus for United Identities that signals the producer’s musical intentions and snappy flair for white hot, minimal and riffing electro.

Sequencing frenetic beats and deep sea grooves for the dancefloor - it’s an industrial side to his sound that takes inspirations from the likes of Dynarec-through-DeFekt in a movement that his Lepton collective have held down through associations with the likes of Alienta, Dez Williams and Jensen Interceptor all the more.
