Our Story

At Viva, we offer you the best of homemade traditional and rustic Spanish food in Dublin. Come and experience authentic Spanish cuisine in Dublin's Portobello district (The pot of gold at the end of the Camden mile). Viva's menu boasts a large selection of tapas, raciones and desserts which will allow you to savour the tastes and flavours of the real Spain right here in Dublin! Viva also offers a good selection of vegetarian and gluten friendly options to add to your choice... And when we do get some SUN our front terrace and private back patio are the perfect spots to enjoy al fresco dining!

We have a large selection of Spanish wines, all carefully selected with some amazing cava’s and Spanish craft beers to compliment your food or just to be savoured in their own right. We cater for large groups too and can create a menu to suit your event and budget whatever the occasion. We of course have the services of some of the best food and drinks producers in Ireland and Spain - Pallas foods, Musgraves Marketplace for our Irish meats and general base ingredients, Kish Fish for our fresh fish and seafood, Smithfield Market for fruit and vegetables, Alberto’s Gold for our Iberian products, meats, cheeses and extra virgin olive oil, The Egg Man for all our free range eggs, Classic Drinks, Elliot’s, and Molson Corrs for our wines and beers.

Some of our accolades include, receiving a Lucinda O’Sullivan star for great places to eat three years in a row in Portobello. Finalist in the Lovin Dublin “Best Tapas” category 2016, Semifinalist five years running (2015-2019) in the Irish Restaurant Awards. Finalist in the food awards 2017.
