Dine in the Dark for NCBI Ireland's first National Dine in the Dark week, now in its second year, 5-12th November 2017

NCBI’s wonderful Dine in the Dark event, in association with RAI, returns again after last year’s success. Your diners wear blindfolds while eating from your mouth-watering menu. As they attempt to dine in darkness, the meal becomes a remarkable sensory encounter that heightens people’s sense of taste, touch, smell, and communication – and most of all, fun. n to feast their imagination, not their eyes. You can design a set menu or simply offer your regular choices.

Huge thank you to all the amazing restaurants who made their donations to NCBI - Working for People with Sight Loss on the back of their incredible Dine in the Dark events in November. We are waiting on the final donations to come in before we start plotting the 2018 fun. Thank you to everyone for their tremendous support in 2017.

And so Dine in the Dark Week has come to a close. What a fantastic week - 80 events nationwide and over 2,000 people dining in the dark to raise funds for NCBI - Working for People with Sight Loss.
