It’s that time again!
Geogsoc is hosting our most popular event of the year: BINGEO 🌏

Bingeo is our geography themed bingo-quiz mishmash. You’ll need to work out the answer for each question, cross it off on your board AND get a complete row.

The stakes are high…but the rewards (of the feeling of accomplishment and a possibly DIY-d, very inexpensive prize 🏆) are worth your while.

We’ve got prizes for first and last place, plus a bonus award for the best worst answer - so there really is something for everyone!

Join us on Friday 24th Feb at 7pm in the GSSR room underneath the stairs in the Museum Building for a grand auld time.

We can’t wait!! See you there 🎊✨

🌎💪🏼

The Irish Youth Volunteering Organisation VSI is currently accepting applications from students who wish to be involved in their project called Youth for Climate Justice. 🌍

The project is running on online from the 8th-11th Nov, with an in person day (with free food and genuinely fun activities) on 19th Nov. You don't need to attend all the sessions but should aim to attend as many as possible. 🌞

It's a really accessible introductory series of workshops on climate justice, and the intention of it is to equip people with some knowledge, skills and confidence so they can be advocates and activists for climate justice in their lives.

Participants also get experience in putting together a media campain about a climate justice issue of their choice, and there's an opportunity to take part in workshop facilitation training. It's all free. 💪🏼

There are also some pretty amazing volunteering opportunities with their international partners. People have been sent to Poland on an all expenses paid trio by the EU!

Link to the application form and website will be on our story and in our bio! 😍
