Co Founder of the mighty Megadeth, David Ellefson, is coming to Drogheda this December. He and his band will play the iconic album Countdown to Extinction in full as well as tunes that have influenced him through the years. This is the only Irish date so tickets will fly. An early Christmas present for metalheads 🤘

Today it's Trad Music and Chess strategy. We say a magical farewell and thank you for another memorable Boyne TradFest. This session could hold up to 30 players if last year is anything to go by. In the venue, from 5pm, we have the equally fab Chess Knights Out. Player a stranger from the same level and test those moves.

Tonight, we continue with the brilliant Boyne TradFest. Two sessions in mcHughs from 9pm. Tomorrow, we have the always fab Chess Knights Out. Pit your wits against fellow players on your level of play. And then we have the farewell session of the Boyne Tradfest. If last year is anything to by, this will be a very special occasion.

A very busy weekend of music. Tonight is the brilliant Trad Thursday. Tomorrow in the venue is the enegetic and super cool vibes from 353 Samba Club. These guys are very special. Also, from tomorrow, we have the fantastic Boyne TradFest and we have FIVE SESSIONS taking place from Friday to Sunday. A lot of live music and most is free admission (353 Samba Club is €10). Enjoy folks
