From the Doonbeg Irish Open Group and Doonbeg Community Development, a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community for your support, cooperation, patience and understanding during the recent Amgen Irish Open and Doonbeg’s Failte Fest.
It was an unprecedented and fantastic event, putting Doonbeg and West Clare firmly in the international spotlight. With the eyes of the world on our village, our community came together and did itself incredibly proud.
A special thank you to everyone who played their part:

👏 Local landowners
👏 Doonbeg Tidy Towns
👏 Doonbeg Men’s Shed
👏 Doonbeg Parish Council
👏 Doonbeg National School
👏 Doonbeg GAA & LGFA
👏 Local businesses
👏 Community groups, clubs, volunteers and individuals
Whether you helped prepare the village, provided land or facilities, volunteered, supported visitors, decorated your home or business, or simply showed patience and understanding with the disruption that comes with an event of this scale and every contribution mattered.
We also want to extend our congratulations and thanks to Trump International Golf Links Doonbeg and the Amgen Irish Open for hosting such a spectacular event and bringing this incredible opportunity to our community.
For a few unforgettable days, the eyes of the world were on Doonbeg and we showed them the very best of us.
Thank you, Doonbeg. You did us proud. 💚👏
