Amidst the pints, the parties, and the madness of the festive season, the Rotary Christmas Remembrance Tree returns to Patrick Street this weekend. It’s one of our city’s most beautiful traditions—a quiet space in the heart of town to pause and remember the people we miss the most. 💕

The tree officially launches tomorrow (Saturday, Dec 13th) at 12pm. If you’re passing through town for your Christmas shopping or heading into one of our venues later, we’d encourage you to stop by, pick up a yellow ribbon, write a message for a loved one, and make a donation. Every cent raised goes to incredible local charities like Marymount Hospice, ARC Cancer Support, and St. Luke’s Home, who do such vital work in our community. 🎗

From all of us at Cork Heritage Pubs, let’s help fill the tree with yellow ribbons this year.

The Cork Heritage Pubs City-Wide Jazz Festival Club 2025 is back.
Here’s everything happening at Black Dog and Vicarstown from October 24 to 27.

All events are free of charge. We are open early and stay open late all weekend with endless entertainment. Food available from Old Town Taqueria at The Black Dog.

Arthur Mayne’s, Pembroke Street – Open from 10am Saturday and 11am Sunday. Grab a bite in our sunny beer garden with great food and maybe a Prosecco or Mimosa too!

De Calf, Cornmarket Street – Open all weekend with fresh breakfast, great coffee, and milk alternatives for everyone.

It’s back again- Cheltenham Week is nearly upon us, here’s everything you need to know about he 24th Annual Mick Will Memorial Cheltenham Buster 🐴

Cheltenham will run this year from Tuesday the 11th of March until Friday the 14th of March.

1st Place prize- €1500
2nd Place Prize- €750
3rd Place Prize - €350
4th Place Prize- €150

Note: There will also be a special Martin McGowan Memorial Prize Aswell as a last place: Show The The River. 🏆

Head into Sin É any time to enter yourself into the buster!

Rules of play-
1: Competition includes all Cheltenham Races over the four days (one horse per race).
2: All slips must be delivered or phoned in by 12.30 on the day.
3: If no-show, competitors will be given the Examiner favourites at 1/2 points.
4: Points are allocated as 1st-10pts. 2nd-6pts. -3rd-2pts
6: Dead-heat, both horses are allocated full points.
7: The winner will be announced on Friday14th of March.
8: Non-runners will be given Examiner favourites.
