Comedy For Witches presents 'The Cosmic Crowd Work Show' With Anna Clifford

We are delighted to bring a brand new show to Coughlans with the same Comedy For Witches energy.

“Cosmic Crowd Work” is a live interactive comedy experience where astrology, audience participation and pure chaos collide. Hosted by comedian Anna Clifford under the “Comedy for Witches” umbrella, the show blends stand-up, crowd work and mystical nonsense into one unpredictable night.

Join Anna for an evening of rituals, riotous cackles and the same aul cosmic nonsense with a sexy Samhain theme.

This is an audience interaction show, so prepare to overshare… or lie.

We are currently developing this brand new show and would love you to join us for an hour of cosmic silliness, celestial chaos and emotionally unstable behaviour.

We say the word witch with a pinch of salt, eye of newt and hair of an ex. “Comedy for Witches” is for ANYONE who believes in something bigger than themselves - whether that’s the moon, Mercury retrograde or the iCloud storage warning.

Come with your star sign. Leave with laugh lines.

Bring your worst self and we’ll heal through laughter.

Host Anna Clifford is a natural entertainer with razor-sharp crowd work, unbelievable true stories and clever observations on millennial chaos. Anna began her comedy career while living in Vancouver and has since become a standout act on the Irish and UK comedy circuit. She is also deeply spiritual, with gin being her primary religion.

Credits include RTÉ, BBC, MTV, LADbible, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Electric Picnic and more. Her debut comedy special I SEE DEADLY PEOPLE is available now on YouTube.

Cork's Boamortemusic return to promote the release of their upcoming 5th album, "Signal:Lost", which is part of a 2 album project, the second of which will be released in early 2027.

Carsie Blanton is a songwriter with hooks, chutzpah, and revolutionary optimism. A radical folk artist in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, her infectious melodies and lyrical wit keep listeners rapt while she conjures spirits of vaudeville, campfire singalongs, and punk rock. Blanton and her road-tested band deploy humor, camaraderie, and considerable musical muscle to enroll each audience in a rare vision of hope and solidarity.

In addition to writing and performing music, Carsie works as a political organizer and activist. In fall of 2025, she participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla, a direct action to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza by sailboat. In early October, after a month at sea, she was imprisoned in Israel for five days along with hundreds of her comrades.

Soon after, Blanton released The Little Flame, a song of solidarity covered widely on social media during her detention. The Little Flame features background vocals from Irish band Ye Vagabonds and Carsie’s Palestinian/New Zealander prison-mate Rana Hamida, and appears on her latest album, The Red Album Vol II.

After two decades spent on the road, Blanton has amassed a dedicated fan base and a small menagerie of viral hits, and regularly sells out mid-size venues across the U.S. and Europe.

2026 will find her touring heavily with her own band and in collaborationwith Canadian folk-punk rabblerousers The Burning Hell, as well as continuing her organizing work with Artists Against Apartheid and the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

Mudlark Ballads, the new album from Irish folk singer Macdara Yeates, arrived in September 2026.
Following his raw, a ca****la debut, Traditional Singing from Dublin (2024), Mudlark Ballads sees Yeates step into a brand new sound world, combining strings, found-sounds, found-percussion, drones, spoken interludes, bells, kazoos, handclaps and more, all with his signature blend of centuries-old Irish folk songs.
Macdara Yeates is one of the leading voices in Dublin's rich and fertile folk scene. Described by Irish Music Magazine as "a true connoisseur of the art of balladry," his stentorian voice has garnered wide acclaim and featured on stages across Ireland, England, Scotland, the United States, Belgium, Denmark and beyond.
In 2012, Macdara co-founded the Dublin folk collective The Night Before Larry Got Stretched, an early proving ground for young traditional singers, including members of Lankum, Landless, Ye Vagabonds, Lisa O’Neill and more. In the intervening years, he has become a central cog in Dublin's folk ecosystem, leading community song projects, performing with acclaimed trad ensemble Skipper's Alley (2013–2017), and, finally, stepping into the fold as a solo artist.
His debut album, Traditional Singing from Dublin, earned a spot on MOJO magazine's Top 10 Folk Albums of the Year and received two nominations at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards, including Best Folk Singer, alongside Ríoghnach Connolly, Cathy Jordan and Christy Moore.

Sharon O'Neill
Sharon brings wit and boundless energy to everything she tells, from hilarious personal stories to epic myths and ancient legends. There's always a unique tongue-in-cheek perspective when Sharon delves into traditional tales.

Colm Ryan
