In July Na Rogairí played in memory of our dear friend Seanie.

We are delighted to share that €1,700.00 was raised on the night 💛

Thank you very much for supporting us with your fundraising event Ceiliuradh Seanie.

of €1,700.00 on 24/08/2026. Together we are helping to provide life-saving treatment and vital
support services for people with cancer – now and into the future.  We are so glad to have you here
with us.


Your donation today will make sure we can continue to fund vital cancer support services and
research in Ireland.
Because of you, we’ll be able to help even more people by providing:
- Our Freephone Support Line (1800 200 700): Our nurses are here for anyone affected by
cancer to answer questions and provide confidential advice and information every step of the
way.
- Night Nurses: Our Night Nurses provide end-of-life care for cancer patients in their own home,
allowing patients to remain at home for the last days of their lives surrounded by their families
and loved ones.
- Cancer Research: We are constantly looking for better diagnostics and treatments for cancer
patients so that people diagnosed with cancer will have access to the best science available.
Daffodil Centres: Our thirteen Daffodil Centres across the country are staffed by Cancer Nurses and
trained volunteers who provide advice, support and information for anyone affected by cancer.

What a wonderful week of fly fishing we had here at The Mills Inn while hosting the 6NFFC. Six teams from Ireland, Scotland, England, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France competed in challenging weather conditions.

In the end, Ireland won the competition. The team consisted of Declan O’Sullivan, Glen McCrave, Ronan Gibbons, and Sean Dowling 🇮🇪

Declan O’Sullivan also won the individual prize, with three session wins. Congratulations, Declan!

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team. If you have a passion for food, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Consistently deliver high-quality dishes, ensuring excellent taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain an efficient and well-organised service.
• Monitor food quality throughout all stages of preparation and service, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
• Conduct regular checks on ingredients to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Support the Head Chef in meeting service demands and maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day support to junior members of the kitchen team.
• Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
• Assist with the induction and training of new kitchen staff.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
