We gave a big Castlecoote welcome to Cllr Mike Hallam and all the cyclists & crew who join him as part of 5 day charity cycle from Belmullet to Northampton. Mike’s grandmother Elizabeth(Lily) Rowan left this area for a nursing career in England in 1940’s.

We are looking forward to welcoming Cllr Mike Hallam, Mayor of Northampton on Monday evening August 10th at 5pm. As part of his mayoral charity, he is organising a 5 day charity cycle from Belmullet to Northampton, stopping off at Castlecoote Lodge. Mike’s grandmother Elizabeth(Lily) Rowan left this area for a nursing career in England in 1940’s. Let’s give a big welcome to Mike and his team of cyclists and crew.

Castlecoote Lodge was delighted to present Martina Jennings, CEO Mayo Roscommon Hospice with a cheque for €1700 proceeds of fundraising over the past months: hamper draw, card game, and pool competition and in house raffle.
