Christmas eve in the club.
Last night the locals paid tribute to Dermot Mc Loughlin. People spoke of his generosity and wonderful sense of humour and a minutes silence was observed in his honour. All believed he was looking down from above on all present on the night. Pictured is the past and present members of Kilnagross NS who were amongst the large crowd who gathered to celebrate Christmas.

As a mark of respect for our late friend Dermot McLoughlin we will form a guard of honour on Friday 28th as his remains pass the pub, club f and Jimmy Gralton's memorial in which he played a big part in its building. Meeting at 6,45pm

We’ll be screening the 1993 Drumsna Fleadh in Gralton’s garden after the crossroads dance. Thanks to Drumsna CCE for the footage. And thanks to the same group of wonderful people year in year out that help make the crossroads dance happen and never look for any thanks or acknowledgment. They spent this evening putting up the screen made by Declan Guckian, chopping timber, making a new grate for the fire to protect the new road and preparing the crossroads with seats and bales.

Club F will open at 8pm Thursday evening.
A large screen is standing across from the pub and a video of the 1993 Leitrim Fleadh in Drumsna will be shown sfter the bonfire.

Crossroads Dance takes place tomorrow 22nd June (as bonefire night is looking wet). Please don’t park near the crossroads as the road is packed with people meeting and dancing and children playing. Park and walk or better still, cycle there! Loads of us dress old style for the craic. You’re welcome to join in or come as you are. Bring your instruments, dancing shoes and yourself!
