We have something new this Saturday! 👀

We are delighted to welcome Nolie & Hotdog live for some folk/rock covers.

From The Eagles & U2, to Van Morrison, The Jam and Oasis.

The guys will be dropping in the afternoon for a sound check and then kicking off the night from 9pm.

Our last wine, cheese and charcuterie night of the summer is tomorrow (Thurs 13th).

Take a minute for yourself and listen to this version of A Patriot Game by Sean Lyons.

This song recounts a Border Campaign of the Irish Republican Army in Fermanagh.

It tells the story of a 20 year old IRA volunteer Fergal O’Hanlon who was killed during an attack on an RUC barracks on New Year’s Day 1951.

Some of you may know the song Sean South of Garryowen. Interestingly enough, that song is written about the same campaign but in that version it’s from the perspective of Sean South.

To add to that, the pub Sean is singing in is an old site of one of these RIC barracks - one that had previously been burnt down by the IRA in the 1920’s.

There is a lot of history behind these ballads.

Sean here is able to bring these to life.

He is back with us this Friday night 31st for another set.

There is a real honesty to his sound that fills the room.

He has a mix of tunes to suit everyone.
