Why be a finalist in one category when you can be a finalist in two? 🙂 Conway’s Kildavin has also been named a finalist in the Sustainable Initiatives category at the Carlow Business Awards 2026.

Paul Conway had the job of presenting our sustainability measures to the County Carlow Chamber judging panel; and he did a mighty job of it! :)

Back in August, a mystery diner came to Conway’s to judge our evening food, service and overall experience.

We’re now very proud to say that Conway’s Kildavin is a finalist in the Nighttime Dining category at the Carlow Business Awards 2026, sponsored by KCLR96FM .

There are so many great places for evening food in County Carlow, including well-known restaurants and hotels. For a small, family-run business in Kildavin to be recognised alongside them means a great deal to us.

A big thank you to our kitchen and front-of-house teams. Their hard work and consistency have earned us a place among the finalists.

If you haven’t tried our evening food yet, this might be a good reminder that you don’t always need to venture far for a delicious evening meal.

We had the pleasure of hosting a small and intimate wedding celebration for Elle and Aaron this weekend.

The bride and groom brought their own personal touch to our function room, with thoughtful DIY details that made every corner feel special. It was clear how much love and care had gone into creating the day they had imagined.

A huge thank you to our team, led by Karen, for all of their hard work behind the scenes in helping the day run so smoothly.

And finally, thank you to Elle and Aaron for putting your trust in us. It was a privilege to host your wedding dinner and after party, and to be part of such a special celebration.
