Hi all. Cappoquin Snooker Club will open every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 10.30pm. New members are always welcome and membership for the season is only €30 for adults and €10 for students and OAPs. If your anyway interested just call in and try it out with absolutely no obligation to become a member.

The final of our AA FIRE SAFETY scratch cup will take place tomorrow eve at 7.30pm and should be a cracking game between Martin McCarthy and Ben O Keeffe. Come along and see what should be a great game.

Well done to our snooker team who played brilliantly in Killarney this weekend. Very unlucky in first two games but really turned on the style today to beat New Institute 3-0. Excellent stuff all weekend and fair play to Aaron, Martin, Ben, Brendan and Killian.

We are down to the final of our Mason mortgage and financial services doubles tournament. John McGrath/Michael Casey V Diarmuid McGrath/Mossie Noonan should make a great final.

The draw for the Mason Mortgages and Financial services doubles tournament has thrown up some very interesting ties indeed. first game sees Martin McCarthy/Donnacha McGrath V John McGrath/Michael Casey winners will play John Noonan/Rhiney Walsh in the first semi final. Other semi final will see Mossie Noonan/Diarmuid McGrath V Darren Mason/Martin Reddy.

The draw for the 2012/13 Market house league took place this week and is as follows. GROUP A Darren Mason, Michael Casey, John McGrath, Alex Henebry, Martin Reddy, Lee Behegan and Diarmuid McGrath. In group B we have a real tough group with Donnacha McGrath, Rhiney Walsh, Ben O Keeffe, Brendan Walsh, David O Keeffe, Martin McCarthy and David Mason. Two tough groups with the top two in each group through to the semi finals. First three games have to be played by Wed 21st Nov.

Hi lads just a quick update. Snooker hall is open Mon to Wed from 7.30 to 10.30 for anyone aged ten or over. Numbers have been very steady and tournaments will soon be starting up. Come along for a few games and if you like it then you can consider joining up as a member. You don't have to be a member to play snooker for the first few weeks lads just come in and give it a try!

Hi Guys.. Just to let people know we are re-opening on Mon eve next Oct 1st from 7.30 to 10.30pm and would like to see some new members come along and enjoy a few games of snooker or billiards.
