🚗 Support 1 Hour Free Parking for Cahir Town

Tipperary County Council is currently reviewing the proposed Parking Bye-Laws for 2026, which would reduce free parking in Cahir to just 20 minutes.

We believe this should be increased to at least 1 hour to better support local businesses, customers, and residents. Many everyday visits to the town centre – shopping, pharmacy visits, banking, or collecting food – take longer than 20 minutes.

If you live in, work in, or visit Cahir, please take a moment to support this request by submitting your feedback to Tipperary County Council before the consultation closes.

Your voice matters and can help protect the accessibility and vibrancy of our town centre.
