A huge thank you to all the members and visitors who played in the Luke Flynn Golf Cup yesterday.

A special thank you to Captain Sean McGowan and the Butlersbridge Golf Society for organising all the outings throughout the year, and in particular for all the work that went into organising yesterday’s final.

Thank you also to everyone who prepared and served the food in Belturbet Golf Club — Angela, Carol, Margaret, Aoibhe and Martina — and to Michael and Fiona McGovern and all the Highball staff for providing the food and music last night.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who sponsored and supported the raffle, and to all those who attended the presentation of the Cup in the Highball.

We are delighted to announce that a fantastic €3,620 was raised. This will be divided between The Oncology Unit at Cavan General Hospital and The Irish Cancer Society.

Congratulations to all of yesterday’s prize winners, and especially to Mary Gilsenan, the overall winner of the Luke Flynn Golf Cup.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success and for your continued generosity and support. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi all, the presentation of the Luke Flynn Golf Cup will take place in The Highball on Saturday next, 5th September at 9.30pm and everyone is very welcome.
There will be a raffle on the night for Oncology Unit, Cavan General Hospital and The Irish Cancer Society and all support is gratefully appreciated ⛳️🏆

We would like to say a massive thank you to all of you who came out to support our skittles tournament this weekend! A great weekend was had and wouldn't be possible without the support and generosity of our local businesses. A massive thank you to everyone for coming out to play skittles and those who bought raffle tickets to support this event, it is greatly appreciated.
Massive congratulations to our winners and runners up there was some great throws from people of all ages!
