Foot Inn Bar Burnfoot Inishowen Buncrana Co. Donegal The Foot Inn Bar Burnfoot originally called The Star Hotel opened in 1928. The hotel became a pub in 1950 when it was bought by JP Mc Ivor.

His son Sean Mc Ivor also from Burnfoot, ran the Bar and a Grocery shop at the premises until he retired in 1991 and sold the pub to Mr John Ryan our local County Councillor. Henry Donaghey Buncrana bought the Bar in 1995 and the Bar passed to the current owners Seamus & Madeline O'Donnell in July 2014 and continues to operate as a Music Venue & Bar since then.
