We’re absolutely buzzing to bring home this award from the Square Bar of the Year Awards!!

We put a lot into building our wine menu this year, now over 85 wines strong, but an award like this isn’t won on wine alone.

To our team, thank you. Every shift, every late night, every glass poured with care. This is as much yours as it is ours. 🙌

And that’s a wrap! What a day at Tullan Strand. The waves showed up, the crowd showed up. Massive thanks to everyone who came down, paddled out, and made yesterday one for the books, we couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Right, it’s nearly here! Rougey Riddim & The Bridge Bar Invitational – Bundoran Mad Shape Classic kicks off this Saturday, June 27th, 1PM at Tullan Strand — and it’s all about having a bit of fun.

This one’s not too serious. Grab your maddest board, pull off your best (or worst) spin, and get involved. Style over everything 🌊🏄‍♂️

🏆 What’s up for grabs:
🥇 Best Performance — €400 Bundoran Surf Co. voucher
🌀 Best Spin — €100 foam. voucher
🤸 Best Turn — €100 Surf World voucher
🦶 Most Time on the Nose — €100 Buoys & Gulls voucher

A massive thanks to .ie and for very generously donating their vouchers — couldn’t do it without ye, legends.

And the craic doesn’t stop there 🔥 Tomorrow evening from 5pm we’ve got BBQ and live tunes in Madden’s beer garden — come on down, grab a bite, sink a few pints and get the weekend started right 🍔🍺🎶☀️

Then after the comp on Saturday, it’s all back to the beer garden again to do it all over — food, drinks and good craic to round off the day 🤙

Two days of reggae, surf and food at Maddens this weekend.

Friday 26th June
Food and tunes in the Beer Garden — BBQ with Dr Reggae Richie and DJ Gally, 6pm til 10pm.

Saturday 27th June
The Bridge Bar Invitational surf contest takes over Tullan Strand from 1pm sharp, with 16 surfers competing across five categories. Best Performance wins a €400 Bundoran Surf Co. voucher, with €100 vouchers from Surf World, Foam, Buoys & Gulls and Stoked for Best Turn, Best Spin, Most Time on the Nose and Most Creative. And a couple more prizes to come 😉

Back at the bar, DJ Gally plays the Beer Garden from 4pm til 7pm, headliners The Bionic Rats take the stage from 8pm til 9:30pm, and Dr Reggae Richie keeps it going inside from 10pm til 12:30am.
