Family Acknowledgement

We the Breslin Family would sincerely like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on the recent bereavement of a beloved husband, father and grandfather, the Late Danny Breslin. To all those who attended and queued outside the Funeral Home and to those who attended the Funeral Mass and Burial we greatly appreciate your presence with us during those days. To everyone who called to our home, the phone calls, the text messages of sympathy, to those who posted condolences online, sent mass and sympathy cards, to those who couldn’t be present at the funeral but called in afterwards to visit us, your kindness will never be forgotten. To all those who travelled distances to be with us and to say goodbye to Danny, we thank you all. To Fr. Jeremiah Munyoki (Bundoran) and Fr. John Phair (Kinlough) for celebrating the Funeral Mass, and to all the Priests that called to the Funeral Home, we thank you sincerely, to the Resurrection Choir for the beautiful music, to the Church Sacristans and to anyone who was involved in anyway during the Funeral Mass we thank you sincerely. To Martin McGowan, Cathal Maguire, Bernard Carty and Liam Fenlon we greatly appreciate your service, professionalism, dignity and compassion shown to both Danny and our family during the days of the funeral. To all the Management and Staff of The Holyrood Hotel we thank you for the beautiful refreshments provided after the funeral. To the many Guards of Honour provided at the entrance to the Church as the cortége made it’s way, we thank you for this.
The last few years Dad eventually retired to the Rock Nursing Home and following that to Ballyshannon Community Hospital, where he spent his final years in the comfort, the care and the compassion of all the staff there, whom he got on so well with and we would most sincerely like to thank each and everyone of you especially all in the Bridge View Unit for everything you did to make him feel comfortable and happy in your care.

Danny’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 20th September at 11.30am in the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran.

With Gratitude,
The Breslin Family.
