And after 2 years that is that. I just want to thank everyone who came into the bar over the last 2 years, without ye it would have been a struggle!

The craic was always had and some great nights were had! A million times over thank you all for being part of this journey, and we will meet again in the next cartoon!

5 and a bit weeks to Christmas... that surely deserves a pint doesn’t it 😅

A day of Horse Racing and Rugby in the bar today. All races from Cheltenham for the big November meeting at the moment!

Also showing Wales V Tonga at 14:30,
Scotland V South Africa at 17:30
And then the big one in Dublin later as Ireland face New Zealand with kick off at 7pm!

So The Bank Holiday weekend is upon us again, which means it’s time for beer and craic 🍻🍻

Anyone heading out tomorrow night drop in as we have a DJ here from 9pm until late to kick off the long weekend in style! 🎤🎤

Also we have the Halloween draw in the pub on Sunday night, for a €5 entry you could be in with a chance of winning a cash prize!

Lads and ladies it is totally and utterly a Royal Wedding free zone in the bar today like it is any other day, plenty of sport on the box today to watch instead 😀

First up Celtic look to create even more history as they look for back to back trebles when they face Motherwell in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park with Kick off at 3pm, coverage from 2pm! ☘️☘️

The FA Cup final will be shown afterwards with Manchester United and Chelsea both vying for the chance for some silverware at Wembley!
Kick off in that is at 5:15pm!⚽️⚽️

Immediately after the football it’s Fight Night as Lee Selby defends his IBF World Featherweight Title against challenger Josh Warrington in Elland Road! 🥊🥊

A great day of sport ahead and no wedding will change that! 😀😀

The Woodsmen Horseshoe Club are having a night of music from Half 9 tomorrow night in celebration of the successful 2017 the club had where they won all bar one trophy in Ireland, and also won the international trophy’s on offer! 🏆🏆
There will spot prizes on the night and music by Billy Bracken! 🎤🎤
A good night of craic and ceol to be had in Podges Bar! 😀🍻🍻

The weekend before Paddy’s Day and I’m sure people are thirsty!
Also not to mention a serious day of sport!

First up is the clash of old rivals Manchester United vs Liverpool which kicks off at 12:30 from Old Trafford!

Next up is the second last round of fixtures from the Six Nations with Ireland Facing Scotland at 14:15 in the Aviva!

At 4:45 France host England in Paris in the Six Nations!

Then this evening in the Allianz Football League Tyrone Host Donegal with throw in at 19:00!

In fairness folks it’s a day for the high stool! 🌧🌧🍻🍻
