“She came from Greece, she had a thirst for knowledge… I wanna quiz like common people do!”
After a sold out debut night in June, Galway’s WOMP Events returns to the Harbour Bar with their hit COMMON KNOWLEDGE QUIZ NIGHT.

Since their inception in 2020, Galway's WOMP Events have made use of the downtime between their popular themed quizzes & nationwide Festival appearances by hosting Galway's most dependable, regular, irregular, unpredictable & quintessential pub quiz…

Each edition of their COMMON KNOWLEDGE QUIZ NIGHT is different and may include throwback & trending trivia questions, picture rounds, song games, telly & fillum trivia, song games, speed rounds - and whatever other nonsense they might whip up to annoy or delight you. There will prizes for the top two scoring teams - plus spot prizes throughout.

When: Thursday 13th August

Time: Doors open from 7pm. We'll begin team check-in & photo round from 7pm. Round 2 begins at 8pm once all teams have arrived. Approx end time 10pm

Where: The Harbour Bar (Upstairs)

T&Cs: Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Over 18's only

Tickets: A table for 4 people is €20. A table for 2 people is €10. + booking fees

SIMPSONS QUIZ NIGHT - Wed 15th July at The Harbour Bar, Bray with WOMP Events

Hi-diddly-ho quizzerrinos!

On Wednesday 15 July, join Galway’s WOMP Events as they bring their Simpsons Quiz to the Harbour Bar. After multiple sell outs of the quiz in Galway, it’s now Bray’s turn to jump on the trambopoline.

Questions will be drawn from multiple seasons of The Simpsons, with an emphasis on the golden age of the series: seasons 1 through 12. As well as a round focused on The Treehouse of Horror episodes. Expect photo, quote, & trivia rounds - and prizes for top three winning teams - plus spot prizes for Best Dressed and Best Team Name.

When: Wednesday 15th July

She made her Late Night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March 2026, which inaugurated her as one of the first - if not the only - Irish female comedians to perform stand up on Late Night TV.

Did you ever hear the story about the moose head hanging in our Live Lounge?

Well, it was donated to The Harbour Bar by Hollywood Legend Peter O'Toole in 1965 when he was filming in Ardmore Studios. The moose head was a prop from the Woody Allen movie 'What's New, Pussycat?'
