Bay Bush Bar

Bay Bush Bar Bay Bush Bar & Red Pepper Restaurant In the center of this town there stood a tree named the Bay Bush. In the 1980’s it was unfortunately deemed unsafe & felled.

On the northern bank of the Blackwater River lies the village of Ballintra otherwise known as Baile an tSratha (town of the stream or dried-up river). The Bay Bush Bar takes its name from that famous tree. Serving good food, cold drinks & good company to a quaint little town & its community. As the tree served to be a place of community, The Bay Bush Bar intends to keep that tradition alive.
