The Cross Bar & Cafe, is a recently refurbished family owned pub, located in the centre of Achill Island, located on the main road, adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean. Reopened on the 20th of June, The pub now serves cafe food during the seasonal period, such as paninis, wraps, baps and sandwiches along with freshly brewed coffee and homemade deserts. With events such as live music, traditional irish

music and family table quizzes are held weekly.

From all of us here at the Cross we would like to say a great big thank you to all of you who supported us in 2015!
We had an unbelievable year and we could not have done it without you!
We couldn't have imagined that the cafe would be as busy as it was and the evening entertainment so successful, from the family quizzes you managed to raise a good bit for all the local charities, well done to all of you!
With your support we are hoping for an even bigger and better 2016!
We had a fantastic team of staff and would like to thank them so much for their hard work, energy, commitment and loyalty!
Our entertainment for the year was excellent and we especially would like to thank out local lads Cian and Michael for some of the great nights they gave us! Summer and Winter!
A special thanks to Gerry and Michael who keep the lights on and the the fire burning going on the cold, wet and windy wintery weekends!
We are looking forward to the New Year!
Why not bring it in with us tonight we have Cian and Michael from 10pm!
The pipers from Dookinella have kindly agreed to pipe us into the New Year, a tradition we hope will never end!

Hi folks we have been off Facebook for a while! But were back now!
We will have a full Christmas schedule posted up in the next week or so! Loads of stuff on over the festive season!
Cause of the bad night that's in it tonight we have decided to stay closed till tomorrow night!
We're open tomorrow Sunday from 7.30pm.
Why not come in for a hot whiskey to warm up the winter night!
