Hey everyone, it's been a while.🙂

We're on the Gold Coast settling back into Aussie life, Rob is now working at the Coolangatta Hotel managing the restaurants there, so if you ever find yourself in the area, please say hi! 🥳

Jo's got a birthday coming up and is hoping to raise funds for our Balinese friends. We're hoping we can put some packs together in time for the upcoming Nyepi Day and give the families some reasons to celebrate. 💛

This time last year I was enjoying a birthday festival in Bali. Times have certainly changed in the space of 12 months, so this year I'm hoping to raise some money to give back to our Bali friends who

Today we were able to meet up with most of our team, one last time.😭
Some have work, some are still looking and one is expecting her first baby in March. They are all healthy and coping as best they can and best of all, all smiling. 😊
We will continue to raise funds to support them and we have arranged with a supplier here in Bali to help us distribute whenever possible.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who has donated over the past 8 months to allow us to continue to help where we can. There are so many who need assistance, but it's nice to know we've made a few people's lives easier.

Rob and I are leaving Bali on the 29th, it's with sadness we say goodbye but with excitement to finally be reunited with our families again. And of course, to finally cuddle 2 beautiful grandsons whom we've not met as yet.
Our partner and good friend, Don, will remain here in Bali. 🌴

For those asking about Chillidog and Bella, they have both landed on their feet once again. Chillidog is living it up in a 5 star resort located in Jimbaran with a beautiful family, and Bella will be living with a very close friend and remaining in Sanur. This was our most gut-wrenching decision, it wasn't done lightly. We are forever truly grateful that they are both being cared for so well. 🐾🐾

The Beach House location has been re-leased by the landlord and as far as we know the current buildings will be demolished and something new will be built. 🚜
There's actually a lot of building going on around the island, it's going to be a new Bali when everyone is able to return, that's for sure. 🤞
For now it's over and out, we'll keep you updated with any fundraising we can do in the future. 🙏

With the help of some very generous people we were able to help our wonderful staff and some Sanur locals again today.

There are many who are struggling, and a bag of rice, fresh veges, tofu and some pantry staples will go a long way to feeding them and their families.

We are hoping to give another food pack prior to us leaving, so if you can help out in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
Any amount helps and allows us to put some smiles on these beautiful people's faces.

Hi everyone, yes Beachhouse is unfortunately closed but that doesn't stop "Friday pie day!!"
Tomorrow's pies are:-
CREAMY CHICKEN, LEEK & MUSHROOM. Rp60k.
With a hint of tarragon and mustard these are a fave of all who have tasted previously.
BEEF BOURGUIGNON - The classic slow cooked rich french beef and red wine casserole using the best Aussie beef, surrounded by our home made pastry will he delicious. Rp70k
And of course sausage rolls 3 for Rp50k.
You can't eat in but we can deliver to your door anywhere in Sanur for no extra.

Oh what a night!
Thank you to everyone who took time out to join us on what was our last day, our last hoorah. We definitely went out with a bang!

The biggest appreciation to our team of staff who as always worked hard to look after every one.

A massive thank you to the awesome musicians who gave their time to entertain us, we had the best fun ever!

And lastly, humungous love to everyone who has taken the time to comment or message, your words have carried us through these last few days. We certainly felt the love.

Beach House will live on in our memories, Bali will always be in our hearts. 🥰

Thanks to the generosity of some amazing people, we've been able to look after our wonderful staff once again and also some locals close to us on the beach.

Today is Kuningan in Bali, and in pre-covid times, temple visits and family get-togethers would be normal. These food packs will provide some relief in what is a sh*tty time for everyone.

You'll see little Made pictured with me, his Mum runs the little Warung beside us on the beach. Such a cutie, he's always waving, his Dad was very grateful for the pack, shaking our hands with tears in his eyes.

As Beach House winds up, it's an emotional weekend for us all. But the camaraderie we've developed with the people surrounding us on this island will remain with us forever.
