The ultimate grudge match is finally here, and what's even better? It's happening on Aussie soil. That's right, the former middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya finally will get his shot at long time rival, Dricus Du Plessis when the two come together on Sunday 18 August. Taking place at RAC Arena in Perth, Adesanya will step back into the Octagon for the first time since losing his title last September to Sean Strickland at UFC 293. While Du Plessis looks to add Adesanya to an impressive resume that already includes Strickland, but also former champion, Robert Whittaker.There's no shortage of bad blood here, Adesanya has declared war against Du Plessis for more than a year now, vowing to take his head off in the ring.
