Extra, extra! Get your Thirsty Kelev Extra Stout here. Winter doesn't quite seem to be releasing its icy grip just yet and as dark beer lovers we're here for it! Our 6.3% Extra Stout is smooth and chock full of complex flavors like cocoa, brown sugar and yes, coffee! We weren't shy with Northern Brewer and Hallertauer hop additions to round out the profile with a balanced bitterness. Full of mouthfeel and flavor, this is a treat for the senses. You can even throw in a scoop or two of your favorite vanilla ice cream for a boozy float, we won't judge.

Do you dream of Tapuzim?? Inspired by the delectable oranges (tapuzim in Hebrew) available locally, our newest IPA is brimming with tropical and citrus flavors. We kept our grain bill simple and let the hops shine, with plenty of Centennial and a whirlpool addition of Galaxy for a pungent and potent aromatic punch. Liquid dessert? Don't mind if we do. Like the finest wines (and higher alcohol stouts, ales and other darker beers) our Chocolate Bamba Stout is aging beautifully. Brace your senses for an onslaught of cocoa, vanilla and brown sugar and a punchy, boozy finish. Why not have your chocolate cake and drink it too?

Hot soup and cold beer, yes winter is still here. Our seasonal winter ale packs a potent punch at 8% ABV but with a smooth finish you'd hardly know it! We got spicy with it, adding cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla in perfect counterbalance with a hefty amount of jaggery, a cane sugar used mainly in Indian and Pakistani cuisine. This brew is complex but approachable and we think there's nothing else quite like it!

We often hear comments from newish beer drinkers that say darker beers, porters and stouts are not for them. Too filling, too heavy, too strong are the common refrains. Well, we're aiming to change that with our Dark Mild. The style is not very common outside of the British Isles, where the demand for low-alcohol, tasty brews suited the longer pub session craved by the locals. A strong malt backbone, lends color, character and body to the sweet but smooth ale. Notes of chocolate, salted caramel and toffee are prevalent in both taste and aroma. So what's the catch? We brewed this beauty at a palatable 3.4% ABV in order to have you enjoying this for hours with your best mates without getting totally wasted.

We ring in the new year with an old favorite, literally! Deriving from the German word for old, the Altbier style was unofficially created in Dusseldorf in the mid-1800's as a response to the upstart, hipster style gaining popularity- the lager. This ale has a crisp, malty finish with spicy and estery aromas from the use of German or Czech hops. At 4.5% ABV we think it's a perfect multi-purpose beer for anyone looking for something less common. From beerhalls to bar stools you can sip this splendid, sessionable creation all day. Enjoy and Happy New Year from everyone at the brewery.

Back by popular demand! It's our Blonde Shel Balfour. We were over the moon with the feedback we received from version 1.0, so we decided to make it again. The same bright, clean and smooth taste as before, with just a touch of fruit flavors from Citra, Azaaca and Cascade hops. Check out the comments below for the write up of our first attempt!

Like sour, juicy and fruity? Sounds like you're entering a Whirl'd of Pain, Smokey. Our newest version of our Sour IPA is bursting with fresh flavors, with a pleasant acidity added from Philly Sour yeast. We just couldn't resist adding fistfuls of Simcoe, Galaxy, Azaaca and El Dorado hops during whirlpool and whirlpool only. By waiting until the final stage of the brew, we extracted the incredible citrus and tropical flavors while avoiding being overwhelmingly bitter. 6% and dripping with flavor, leave the Juicy Juice for the kids and grab the adult version.

Double double, toil and trouble. Something spooky has come on Halloween. 6.6% ABV, 66IBUs and mashed in at 66.6°, this is The Devil's Daze. Our West Coast IPA is coming to your bottles soon!

The gang is at it again! As we mentioned last post, the Slovakian beer scene is mainly dominated by crisp, simple and delicious lagers. However, the craft beer scene is on the rise and we were happy to sample hoppier IPAs and APAs at Ružinovský pivovar Komín or the "Chimney Brewery" near the city's municipal market. They also have plenty of other local options on tap and we even got a free lesson in Slovak from our enthusiastic barman. Díky brácho (thanks bro) and cheers!

Beers in Bratislava! Yes our field research has taken a few of our team members to the Slovakian capital. Like its Austrian and Czech neighbors, the low-alcohol, crisp and refreshing lager reigns king as the local beer of choice. Look for Klastorny, brewed in a historic monastery and proudly served at the Slovak Pub!
