Privacy wise Windows 10 is probably the worst version of Windows to date. I guess Microsoft looked at Google and what they were doing for inspiration. I know I'm late to the party, talking about invasive Windows 10 privacy policy. What prompted me to write this article is the recently released Windows 10 Anniversary upgrade, that became available on my laptop just last week. [ 436 more words ]

Anatomy Learning - 3D Atlas is a 3D human anatomy app for Android. That's basically a one sentence summary of what we're going to be talking about today. Now I don't think that this app should be taken as an alternative for an actual medical textbook, but it does come very close. It can be a great additional aid in understanding the human anatomy. Our smartphones seem to be replacing more and more devices that we've gotten used to having over the years. I'm talking about things like cameras, discmans (remember those?), MP3 players, calculators, GPS navigation, you name it. One of the things that I didn't know up until a while ago that you can use you phone as is a pedometer. I'm not sure how I missed it exactly, but browsing through the Play Store I discovered that I can use my Android devices as pedometers. [ 499 more words. ]

I know what you're thinking. It's very hard these days to find something to kill time with. There's very little distractions available to us. That's why today I decided to bring to your attention a puzzle game app for Android called Roll the Ball. It's actually a pretty popular app, so you might have heard of it already, but I haven't, so I'll do a little write up on it if you don't mind. [ 529 more words. ]

I've been meaning to write this tutorial, if you could call it that, for quite some time now. I don't actually have any hard drives connected to my Raspberry Pi at the moment, but I did have hard drives connected to it a few months ago, 2 different drives, one in a USB 2.0 enclosure, and another in a USB 3.0 enclosure. To a lot of people chess is kinda of a boring game to play, and if you agree with that statement, then you might want to skip todays article. On second thought, don't go, because today I'll be talking about a chess game for Android called Chess Free, which is perfect for both beginners and seasoned players. Those who are just starting out will love Chess Free because it has a tutor mode where it teaches players how to play chess, and more advanced players will love it because of the very competitive AI that they can play against. Flappy Bird Clone Game For Android – Twitchy Moth http://www.funtechtips.com/?p=2042

Does anyone remember Flappy Bird? Did you throw your phone into the wall while playing it? I seem to remember reading that people did that when they became frustrated with the game. Today I thought to myself, why not relive all that with a Flappy Bird clone game for Android. I already talked about Flappy Fish a while back. Today I'm switching to moths, and it's not a flappy moth, it's twitchy. [ 338 more words. ]

TimeTune – Free Daily Scheduler App For Android http://www.funtechtips.com/?p=2033

Organizing ones day can just very well be the thing that makes you get off your sofa and do something more productive with your time. I'm not saying that watching TV isn't productive, especially if you're watching something as awesome as Kyle XY (YES, I watched it, so what, sue me, I don't really care). Anyway, what I was saying is that creating a daily schedule can be a psychological motivator. [ 625 more words. ]

eBay Item Feedback Filtering With FeedbackSelector http://www.funtechtips.com/?p=2008

Sometimes the eBay dashboard can be extremely unhelpful at times. For example when you're interested in seeing feedback that people left for a specific item. There's just no way of doing it using the eBay filtering tools at our disposal. eBay hasn't thought about implementing this type of feature up until now, why exactly I don't know. It doesn't make sense because knowing what kind of feedback someone left for an item can come in handy when determining if said item is worth buying or not. [ 319 more words. ]
