Dragi naši,
Nakon dosta razmišljanja, zaključili smo da ove sezone i do daljnjeg Cava Brač više neće biti otvorena kao restoran/bar. Nažalost, zbog disproporcionalnih potraživanja državnih vlasti prema našem poslovanju, još uvijek otplaćujemo dugove prethodne sezone. Ukupno je ovaj OPG u 2024.g. prema Proračunu RH uplatio 30.291 euro, što prihodi prošle godine nisu mogli namiriti, a pored toga postoje sve obaveze prema dobavljačima, radnicima, komunalijama, održavanju itd. Smatramo da je poruka da se poduzetništvo i inovacije ne isplate, bez obzira na sva formalna objašnjenja i razloge (porezi, socijalni transferi, kazne) i zato poslovanje zatvaramo. Našu priču smo spremni podijeliti, jer nikada nismo mogli sanjati da ćemo ju morati završiti ovako. Međutim, ovo nije kraj. Sprema se nova epizoda na duže staze, o čemu ćemo vas obavještavati. OPG Cava Brač nastavlja postojati, u klasičnom kapacitetu, a namjeravamo organizirati i posebne privatne retreatove, besplatne radionice i sl. kao i dosad, gdje ćemo se moći individualno okupiti i kvalitetno iskoristiti i vrijeme i ovaj jedinstveni ambijent i pogled. After much consideration, we concluded that from this summer onwards, Cava Brač will no longer be open as a restaurant/bar. Sadly, due to the disproportionate dues required by the state authorities towards us, we’re still coping with the last year’s debts. In total, Cava Brač transferred to the Budget of Croatia the total of EUR 30,291, which could not be met by the income of 2024, and that comes on top of all the payments towards our creditors, suppliers, staff, public utilities, maintenance etc. We see this as a message that entrepreneurship and innovations are not welcome, irrespective of all the formal explanations and reasons (taxes, social transfers, fines), which made us close the business part. We're prepared to share our story, because we could never foresee that our story would end like this. However, this is not where it ends. We'll be preparing a new episode in the longer run, of which we will keep you posted. OPG Cava Brač will continue its operations, in a classic capacity, but we still plan to organise special private retreats, free workshops etc., as we have in the past, where we will be able to gather individually and make the best use of our time and Cava's unique surroundings and the view.
